What Is UV DTF?

UV DTF (Ultraviolet Direct-to-Film) is a peel-and-stick transfer made for hard, smooth surfaces like glass, plastic, acrylic, and metal. Unlike traditional heat transfer DTF used on apparel, UV DTF does not require a heat press and is not intended for fabric use.

Each transfer is printed with premium UV-cured ink, producing a vibrant, semi-permanent decal that adheres easily and resists light wear and water. (Hand-wash only. Not rated for outdoor use.)

About This Gang Sheet:

Our UV DTF Gang Sheets are printed in-house at our Waite Park, MN shop using premium UV DTF film and vibrant, long-lasting inks. Sized at 11" wide and up to 60" long, these sheets are ideal for batching multiple designs, cup wraps, or label-style decals for resale.

Use our online gang sheet builder to upload multiple graphics and control your layout with ease, perfect for crafters, small businesses, and local creators.

Artwork Requirements:

  • Submit PDF or PNG files at 300 DPI or higher

  • PDF is preferred for best color consistency

  • Use CMYK color format for improved color accuracy

  • We do not check or edit artwork before printing — your gang sheet will print exactly as uploaded

  • Low-resolution files may appear pixelated or blurry. No refunds for low-quality uploads.

Processing Time:

Most gang sheets are printed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

How to Apply UV DTF Transfers (No Heat Press Needed):

  1. Clean your surface with soap and water or glass cleaner. Let it dry fully. (Avoid alcohol or acetone-based cleaners.)

  2. Cut and position your design if needed.

  3. Peel the backing film away from the clear transfer film, leaving the ink attached to the top layer.

  4. Place on your item, pressing firmly from the center out. Use a squeegee or a firm card to apply even pressure.

  5. Peel off the top film  slowly at an angle.

  6. Smooth it down again with your fingers to ensure full adhesion.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Not dishwasher safe – hand wash only

  • Not designed for outdoor use or exposure to moisture

  • Do not apply to fabric, rubber, or flexible/stretchy surfaces

  • UV DTF is semi-permanent and not easily removable once applied
