Need DTF transfers without waiting days for them to ship?

Fuzzy Loon Designs prints custom DTF gang sheets in-house in Waite Park, Minnesota, just outside St. Cloud. Most gang sheet orders are produced the same day or next business day, making us a fast local option for Minnesota apparel businesses, print shops, makers, schools, organizations, and anyone pressing their own shirts.

Whether you need one small gang sheet or you’re ordering transfers every week, you can upload your artwork, build your sheet, and let us handle the printing.

Where Can I Get DTF Gang Sheets Printed in Minnesota?

Right here in Central Minnesota.

Fuzzy Loon Designs prints DTF transfers at our production facility in Waite Park, MN, and customers can either pick up their completed transfers locally or have them shipped.

We’re especially convenient for customers in St. Cloud, Waite Park, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, St. Joseph, and the surrounding Central Minnesota area who don’t want to order transfers from an out-of-state company and wait for shipping.

But you definitely don’t have to be local. We ship DTF transfers throughout Minnesota and across the country every day. If you’re in the tri-state area you likely will still get the transfers next day!

Do You Offer Same-Day DTF Gang Sheets?

Yes! One of our biggest advantages is speed.

Our standard turnaround policy allows 1-3 business days, especially during high-volume periods, but most DTF gang sheet orders are actually produced the same day as long as they are put in early.

If you need transfers quickly, ordering from a local DTF printer like Fuzzy Loon Designs can eliminate several additional days of shipping.

Have a last-minute shirt order? Need a few more transfers because your customer added shirts? Forgot to order something?

We get it. We work with apparel decorators too.

What Is a DTF Gang Sheet?

A DTF gang sheet allows you to place multiple designs onto one larger sheet of DTF film.

Instead of paying for every transfer individually, you use the available space on the sheet as efficiently as possible.

You can fill a gang sheet with:

  • Multiple copies of the same logo
  • Different logos
  • Left-chest designs
  • Full-front or full-back designs
  • Sleeve prints
  • Names
  • Numbers
  • Multiple sizes of the same design
  • Completely different designs

Once you receive the sheet, simply cut the individual transfers apart and press them onto your garments.

What Size Are Your DTF Gang Sheets?

Our DTF gang sheets are 22 inches wide and available in multiple lengths.

Common sizes include:

22” × 24”
22” × 48”
22” × 60”
22” × 72”
22” × 144”

For customers who print regularly, longer gang sheets are generally the most economical because you can fit more transfers onto a single sheet.

Can I Build My Own DTF Gang Sheet?

Yes. In fact, that’s what most of our regular DTF customers do.Our gang sheet builder allows you to upload your artwork and arrange your transfers yourself.

This gives you control over the size, quantity, spacing, and layout of your designs while keeping the cost down.

If you’re new to gang sheets, don’t overthink it. Once you’ve built one or two, it becomes extremely easy.

What File Type Is Best for DTF Transfers?

For the best DTF print quality, start with high-resolution artwork with a transparent background.

We recommend artwork at approximately 300 DPI at the actual size you want it printed.

PNG files are commonly used for DTF because they support transparent backgrounds. Vector artwork can also work extremely well. The most important thing to understand is this: We can print what you send us, but printing cannot add detail that isn’t in the original artwork.

If you upload a tiny, blurry image and enlarge it to 12 inches wide, it will still be blurry when printed. When in doubt, start with the highest-quality artwork you have.

Do DTF Files Need a Transparent Background?

Usually, yes. Anything visible in your artwork can potentially print. If your logo is sitting on a white rectangle and you don’t want a white rectangle on your shirt, that background needs to be removed before printing.

This is especially important with JPG files because JPGs do not support transparency. PNG is generally a better format when your artwork needs a transparent background.

What Resolution Should a DTF Gang Sheet Be?

We recommend 300 DPI at print size whenever possible.

Here’s the important part: simply changing a low-resolution file to “300 DPI” doesn’t magically make the artwork high resolution. The actual image needs enough pixel information for the size you’re printing.

A logo that looks fine at 3 inches wide may look terrible if it’s enlarged to 12 inches. If you’re selling apparel professionally, good artwork matters.

Is DTF Good for Small Apparel Businesses?

Absolutely. DTF has made it significantly easier for small apparel businesses to offer professional full-color printing without purchasing and maintaining their own DTF printer.

You can order professionally printed gang sheets, cut the transfers apart, and press them yourself as orders come in.

That means you can offer more designs without keeping large quantities of finished shirts in inventory.

For many small apparel businesses and makers, it’s one of the easiest ways to scale production.

Should I Buy a DTF Printer or Order Gang Sheets?

That depends on your volume. Owning a DTF printer can make sense at high production volumes, but there’s much more involved than simply buying the printer.

DTF printing requires regular maintenance, ink management, film, color calibration, powder, curing equipment, climate considerations, cleaning, and someone who knows how to troubleshoot the equipment.

Printers also don’t particularly care whether you’re busy, on vacation, or don’t have orders that week. They still require attention and many don’t do well with sitting more than 1-2 days without being run.

For many small and growing apparel businesses, ordering gang sheets allows you to focus on selling and pressing shirts instead of maintaining another printer.

And when your gang sheet supplier can turn orders around quickly, you don’t necessarily need to own the equipment to offer fast apparel production.

Can I Order Just One DTF Gang Sheet?

Yes. You don’t need to be a large print shop or order hundreds of transfers. You can order a single gang sheet.

That’s useful for small businesses, Etsy sellers, schools, teams, family events, fundraisers, organizations, and people making shirts at home.

Do You Sell DTF Transfers to Other Print Shops?

Yes. A large part of DTF production is helping other businesses produce apparel.

You don’t need to own a DTF printer to sell DTF apparel. If you have a quality heat press, you can order your transfers from us and handle the pressing yourself.

We work with businesses that order occasionally as well as repeat customers who need gang sheets on a regular basis.

Can You Ship DTF Gang Sheets?

Yes. We ship DTF transfers throughout Minnesota and nationwide via UPS.

If you’re close to St. Cloud, you can also choose local pickup at our Waite Park location and skip shipping entirely.

For Central Minnesota apparel businesses, that can make last-minute orders significantly easier.

Are DTF Transfers Full Color?

Yes. One of the biggest advantages of DTF is the ability to print full-color artwork without traditional screen-printing color limitations.

DTF works well for:

  • Full-color logos
  • Detailed illustrations
  • Gradients
  • Photographic artwork
  • Multi-color designs
  • Small text and fine details

The quality of your original artwork still matters, but you’re not limited to one or two ink colors.

Can DTF Transfers Go on Dark Shirts?

Yes. DTF printing uses white ink underneath the color portion of the design, allowing transfers to show up on both light and dark garments.

That means the same full-color design can often be used on black, navy, red, white, gray, and many other garment colors.

Always check the garment’s fabric and heat tolerance before pressing.

Our official turnaround window is 1-3 business days to account for unusually busy production periods, but fast turnaround is something we take seriously.
