If you’ve ever ordered custom transfers or prints online and opened the box thinking, “this isn’t what I expected,” you’re not the only one.

There’s something most big print companies don’t really talk about. A lot of them are just printing transfers and shipping them out. They’re not actually using them.

That means they’re not pressing them onto real shirts. They’re not seeing how they peel. They’re not catching color issues or noticing when something doesn’t hold up the way it should. So when something goes wrong, there’s not much they can do to help because they’ve never actually used the product themselves or aren't consistently testing and improving.

At Fuzzy Loon Designs in Waite Park, just outside of St. Cloud, that’s not how we operate.

We use our transfers every single day in our own shop. We’re pressing them onto shirts, sweatshirts, and real customer orders constantly. So we know exactly how they perform. We know what works, what doesn’t, and what to adjust before it ever becomes an issue for you.

That also means if something ever did look off, we would catch it before it left our shop. Not after.

Speed is another place where things tend to fall apart with larger companies. You place an order and it sits in a queue for days before anyone touches it. By the time it ships, you’re already behind.

Most of our orders are done the same day or the next business day. We do offer rush options if you need a guaranteed turnaround, but honestly, a lot of customers don’t even need it.

We recently added a second DTF printer with an expanded color setup, which doubled our production capacity and improved color accuracy at the same time. That means we can move faster without sacrificing quality, which is usually where companies struggle.

The other thing people don’t realize until they need it is customer service.

If you’ve ever tried to get help from a large online printer, you already know how it goes. You send a message, wait a day or two, and get a response that doesn’t really answer your question.

Here, you can actually call us (320-774-1111). You can stop in 806 Sundial Drive, Waite Park, MN. You can ask questions and get a real answer from someone who knows what they’re talking about. We’re a small shop on purpose. It keeps things simple, and it keeps us connected to what we’re producing.

If you’re local to St. Cloud, Sartell, or Sauk Rapids, you can skip shipping altogether and pick up your order when it’s ready. That alone saves time and takes a lot of stress out of the process.

At the end of the day, you can order transfers from anywhere. There’s no shortage of options online.

But not every company is actually using what they sell. Not every company is set up to move fast without cutting corners. And not every company is available when you have a question.

That’s the difference.

At Fuzzy Loon Designs, we don’t just print transfers. We use them, test them, and stand behind them.
